Person killed in crash on Highway 71 east of Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A person was pronounced dead after an early-morning crash on Highway 71 east of Austin Friday. Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the crash around 6:30 a.m. It happened near Granny Drive on Hwy 71. Real time traffic map ATCEMS said a vehicle was pinned and a patient had potentially gone into cardiac arrest.Around 6:44 a.m., the person was taken out of the vehicle and medics performed CPR, according to ATCEMS. HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Rensselaer woman is due in court later this month after she allegedly crashed her car, drunk, with a child inside. A spokesperson for New York State Police said the child was under the age of five and was picked up before officers could make it to the crash scene. Colorado Bureau of Investigation officials announced Friday that they’ve located a 23-year-old woman affiliated with the Dakota tribe who was reported missing on Thursday.The woman identified as Arianna Danielle Blue was found safe, CBI officials said in a Twitter post. The CBI also was looking for a 46-year-old man and a maroon 2005 Ford Explorer when Blue was reported missing after April 5 in Lakewood.
