Petaluma man arrested for allegedly stealing truck with owner's dog in it (BCN) -- A Petaluma man was arrested Friday after he allegedly stole a truck with its owner's dog in it, police said.Around 7:30 p.m. Friday, officers received a call from a man reporting someone had just stolen his truck in the area of Weller and East D Street, with his dog in it, the Petaluma Police Department said in a news release. DA: Serial shoplifter at Westfield San Francisco mall denied bail The victim gave a description of the vehicle and multiple officers searched the area but were initially unsuccessful in finding it. Police said they issued a "be on the lookout" alert to neighboring law enforcement agencies to notify them about the stolen vehicle. Around 8:05 p.m., a Santa Rosa officer found the stolen vehicle traveling on northbound U.S. Highway 101 in Santa Rosa. He attempted to pull the truck over, but the suspect allegedly fled. Petaluma police investigating alleged assault with deadly weapon involving 2 juvenile suspects (BCN) -- Petaluma police are investigating an alleged incident of assault with a deadly weapon involving two juvenile suspects Thursday night.At around 9:48 p.m. Thursday, the Petaluma Police Department Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a 17-year-old female reporting that someone had just pointed a firearm at her and her friends in the C Street Garage. Oakland PD investigating shooting Officers arrived on scene shortly after and contacted the three juvenile victims nearby. They reported while being on the 4th floor of the C Street garage, two juvenile males approached them and began to yell at them. Oakland PD investigating shooting   (KRON) – The Oakland Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one victim suffering a gunshot(s) on Saturday morning.Oakland police were dispatched to a ShotSpotter activation in the 500 block of Grand Avenue around 3 a.m. on Nov. 11.  Man arrested on elderly abuse charges after he ‘terrorized’ parents in Redwood City: police When officers were en route to the scene, they were flagged down in the 1900 block of San Pablo Avenue by the victim. The victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). Medical personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital. The victim is listed in stable condition. This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPD Felony Assault Unit at (510)238-3426.
